I am a husband, a father, and a United States veteran. Those are three parts of my life that I am deeply proud of, and each has helped shape the man I am today.

Above all, I am a follower of Jesus Christ with a burden for reaching souls and sharing His Gospel.

That burden has led me to open the Word of God with others, teach home Bible studies, develop lessons, write devotional material, and eventually begin putting those thoughts into books and articles.

None of this began with a desire to become a writer or build a website. It began with a desire to reach people with the Gospel. Over time, God began opening opportunities for me to sit across the table from people with an open Bible, ask questions together, dig deeper into Scripture, and share what Jesus Christ has done and what His Word teaches.

The more I studied in preparation to share with others, the more I discovered how much there was still for me to learn.

I believe the Bible should be studied seriously without making it unnecessarily complicated. Sometimes that means slowing down over a single verse. Sometimes it means looking at the original language behind a word. Other times it means stepping back and asking a very practical question: What does this mean for the way I live?

That is what this website is about.

Here you will find biblical reflections, Bible studies, books, and resources that have grown out of my own study, writing, and ministry. Some will dig deeply into Scripture. Others may simply be thoughts God has placed on my heart. But through all of it, my desire is the same: to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, point people toward Him, and encourage them to open His Word for themselves.

I am still learning. I am still growing. And, as the first article published on this site says, God is still forming things in me too.

My prayer is that something you find here reaches someone who needs Jesus, strengthens someone who is already walking with Him, or simply causes someone to open their Bible and take another step toward knowing Him.
